I've been watching Gunbroker for a long time, partly with an eye as to how useful it would be, when it comes time to reduce or dispose of my own collection. I'd hoped to pass it along, intact, to the family, but that may not be financially possible.

The site certainly gets exposure - there used to be a few competitiors, but they have fallen by the wayside, to the point where I no longer even bother looking at them.

It is a bit disheartening to see some pretty nice rifles just sitting at GB - getting no bids, at fair asking prices. Then some turd like that comes along and (apparently) gets an offer out of all proportion to its' value. I may get bitten by the "condition" bug after all - while my stuff is about as "right" as it gets, it is not real "minty".

We'll see, I guess.
