Actually, it's an 1888 milled triggerguard (which was NEVER used on carbines) and, the rear sight LEAF appears to be an 1873 or 1877 - while the base could be an 1877 or 1879, but, EITHER is totally wrong for the gun. Front sight looks hinky, barrel looks too fat, and stock tip is not right (close, but no cigar).

Certainly is pretty wood, though! Just too bad it isn't real.

I doubt that auction will be pulled - she's had time to do it and it was still up last time I checked. I pity the buyer, if he ever tries to sell it.
