I"m sorry that I forgot to add this in response to one of the replies:

The ejector...or is it the extractor...anyway, the little blued steel leg that is pivoting on the breech block hinge pin, is free and functioning properly. In fact, it makes a rather smart "snap" when tripped, and should have no problem popping the brass out of the chamber.

We'll see what a new spring does for that cam latch. I still can't believe that much play would be allowed between the cam latch shaft, and the holes in which it pivots.

Sheesh. We've fired guys at work for less.
