I accept NO liability for your actions, but it SHOULD be safe, unless the loads are marked "High Velocity" or "For use in modern (1886 Win, 1895 Marlin, etc.) rifles only", or some such. Un-qualified boxes are SUPPOSED to contain loads which are suitable for the TD. A better choice, especially if you plan to shoot a lot, would be the so-called "Cowboy Action loads".
