Re: m66 lock parts

While some of the interior parts noted ARE interchangeable from 1855 to 1875+ and beyond, their screws are not, due to the difference in thickness of lockplate. While the hammers are model-specific, "musket" (starting with the 1861) plates and parts are all good through the Model 1870. But, when the change was made to the flush plate in 1873, the screws (and tumbler) changed also. Foregoing is a bit of a generality (for example the special 1867 Cadet parts are ignored) and the chart, which has been widely published, should still be consulted, but the screws are perhaps the biggest change.
