Hi Glenn, Here is a list of lock parts for the Springfield: 1) Hammer- appears to be made for this model only(1866). 2) Bridle and screw- interchangeable with all Springfield Models 1855 through 1873. 3)Mainspring- all the same from Models 1861 to some 1873s. 4) Sear and screw- all the same from Models 1855 to 1873, the same for sear spring and screw. 5)Tumbler- Models 1861 to 1866 use the same. 6) Tumbler screws- the same on Models 1855 to 1870. 7) Lock Plates- the same on Models 1861 to 1870.

I hope I did'nt leave anything out. If I did let me know and I will look it up for you. All this information came from the book, Ordnance Memoranda #22, Fabrication of Small Arms, 1878. This book should still be available from S&S Firearms, Glendale, NY. Regards, Ken
