Thanks, John, but the auctions CAN be sources of bargains, IF one has "done their homework". As a current example, I just purchased (in fact am still deep in the 10-day CA waiting period) my SECOND 26" BoOF Krag (in a ten month span) on Gunbroker.com!
Sufficient clues were provided in a very brief description and four (two of which were totally meaningless) photos to ID the piece beyond a reasonable doubt, making it well worth the LOW three-figure BIN! (obviously I'm NOT referring to the one from NY that has gone without one single bid for that same ten months).
I'm ecstatic, but cannot help feeling a bit guilty as well.
