Bob

Cabelas sells 45-70 rounds in bulk (100). Go to Cabelas.com. The cost is about $1.80 a round.

As for loading the empties, entry level presses are not that expensive. Look on GunBroker.com. Die sets are available on Ebay & GunBroker.com.

I found my press at a Flea Mall for $50.00.

All the powder manufacturers post loads on their Web sites. The Internet is a wonderful tool for gathering information. Do a little digging & you will be loading your own rounds in no time.

The important thing to remember is to keep the pressures in a safe level. I load under 25,000 psi cup. This is as high as you want to go with the Springfield.

DO NOT put the TD back in the closet. Get busy with the reloads & have some fun.

Ernie
