Depends on what you mean by "the experimental model" - that's awfully vague. If you are referring to the Model 1888 "positive cam" rifles (which are the only rarities close to that number) they seem to occur in a pretty tight group - ALMOST consecutive - from 4155xx to 41561x. While VERY rare, they are easily identified because the block is actually marked "US/Model/1888", and the firing pin screw is on the side - visible behind the thumblatch.
