Re: Pete's Colt SAA

Hello Ab,

Haven't heard from you in quite a spell. It's getting very difficult to find an "Artillery Model" I have discovered. There have been a number of short-barreled (5-1/2") I've seen recently, but most are the civilian (not "U.S."-stamped) with peeling Nickel-plate, gaudy ivory or staghorn or hard rubber or plastic grips. I'm still searching, though.

Mine has no real provenance to speak of, other than the fact that it - - and 99 others - - were shipped from the Colt factory on 30 December 1880 after being accepted and stamped "D.F.C." by David F. Clark.

Don't stay silent so long [:>)]
