That will be done in due time, when the last chip has fallen. I doubt that you will be surprised. Technically, the issue is still unresolved, since the buyer has given the seller an additional ten days to reconsider his response before legal action is instituted. It is, therefore, still in the posturing and (possible) bluffing stage.

I consulted with Al before I "broke the story", and - while acknowledging that the party had "been a problem for years", he asked me not to conduct a "full-scale attack", on his board. Since I have the utmost respect for Al, I have tried to stay within the guidelines of simply reporting the facts. Since he has neither stepped into this discusion, nor rebuked me privately, I assume that I'm still "within bounds." Were this my blog, I'd probably have phrased some things differently.

There is absolutely NO question whatsoever that the gun I was shown is bogus; the receiver characteristics are SO clear as to be seen AT ONCE, by anyone who is aware of the two configurations.

But, as John says, "intent" is the crux. From years of observation of the party in question, I personally have no doubt that he was well aware of the situation, but that is only my opinion.
