"Challenge: Someone come forward with a POSITIVE anecdote re dealing with KR/TG. I don't mean a 'buddy', just a truly satisfied customer."

*******************

I have a Type II Officer's Model which *should* have the wood pistol grip, but shows no signs of ever having one or, if it did, it was removed and discarded early on.

Wanting to make my OM "whole" again I came across Keith's website and contacted him about a PG. He said he had both an original and a reproduction. I wanted the original but Keith said that it had a block of wood glued/attached to it by whoever used it as the guide to make the repros (I think the block of wood was necessary to put the PG in a lathe), and he said he couldn't see how to remove this block of wood without damaging the original PG.

Keith said that he would send me both the original and the repro, that I could look them over and decide which one I wanted and then return the other. This was WITHOUT me sending him any money up front.

He sent me both grips as he said he would, and I purchased the reproduction and returned the original back to him along with the payment for the one I kept.

I always thought that was very kind of Keith as I was a complete stranger to him.
