I'd almost need to see pictures, but, as stated, there just are not any original carbines anywhere near that number.

The block marking is correct, but that does not settle the issue, as all arms had the same block during that period. Much revolves around stock profile at front, prep for the sling/ring-bar, shape of comb, etc. We may not be able to settle this at long distance where you cannot conveniently handle the piece.
