Thanks, Amy. In my unofficial status as self-appointed "Keeper of the First Model Registry" I'd welcome ANY factual info on 37857. Fanciful or not, LBH has had a very powerful draw on many people, and logic is occasionally bent to suit.

There are NO (known) issue records, those few (less than 50) verified 7th Cav arms have come from chance notations, recaptures, a diary, etc., etc. The forensically ID'd guns are fewer yet (less than 10). Many people ignore the fact that the entire regiment was not wiped out; and that there were "LBH guns" which were not "Custer guns".
