Congratulations on your new addition! The gun, which I suspect MAY have, at one time, passed through Trapdoors Galore, appeared (confirmed by your post) to have the post-1877 "thick" swivel bar. Early bars run about 0.185 - 0.195" (Poyer made a typo there). That, coupled with the patina items mentioned previously, makes me just SLIGHTLY suspicious of its' total virginity. There certainly is NO question that the serial number range is correct. But, when you say "battle gun", I trust you did not mean to imply Battle gun (as in LBH) since nothing seems to directly suggest such usage.
