Larry, I remember seeing someplace about replacing H&R blocks with original, but don't think it was here. The description I saw seemed to be aggrivating to the extent I didn't try it. Drilled and pinned(all the way through or you're kidding yourself it will work) for soome friends after reading the "other" procedure. If'n ya got a better way, I have one buddy who would like to keep the one (we got this one staying shut) he is trying to sell.

Today was relatively uneventful at the range. Took my TD Northwest Trade gun and TD Hawken but didn't get as much shooting as I would have liked. When you're the muzzle loading trainer for a small state like Delaware, anytime you're at the State range you're subject to instant training sessions when needed. A Brown Bess that wouldn't go off with a full charge in the barrel was todays project. No problem, love to help a newby and get him started right.
