Lock Plates

No.1: 50-70 lock plate, with some fine speckle in the surface. The threaded holes are fine. $450 + S/H

No.2: Sold Brown/Blue 50-70 plate that has not been buffed or redone.. All the treaded holes are fine. $40 + S/H.

No.3: Sold Bannerman 45-70 lock plate blue/grey in color. All the treaded holes are fine. $25 + S/H.

No.4: Sold Early 1873 dated 45-70 plate has not been buffed. All the treaded holes are fine. $55 + S/H.

No.5: Sold Late 45-70 plate mostly gray. All the threads are fine. $25 + S/H

No.6: 1st Allin lock plate (See below) The lock plate has been milled on the inside to clear the ejector slider as the breech block is opened. On the plates, Springfield either milled the clearance cut or ground the cut. This plate was ground and re-color case hardened because there is color case in the ground recess. $225 + S/H.

Miscellaneous Trapdoor Locks

#1. This is an M65 lock with an M65 hammer. The lock plate has not been buffed or polished. It has all original parts. $245 + S/H.


#1. This is an M66 plate and hammer that has not been cleaned or buffed. It has all original parts. $195 + S/H.


#2. Sold A very early dated lock with first model hammer. The lock has a three position tumbler and appears to have been buffed. All the parts appear to be original. $185 + S/H.




#3 Lock has a three position tumbler and a gray/blue color. It has the Type III hammer. The plate is struck thin, but it has not been polished. $185 + S/H.


#4. This is an early M73 lock with coarse hammer and dated plate. It has been buffed or reblued. It has all original parts, and a three position tumbler..
Sold $220 + S/H.


#5. Lock has a three position tumbler. The lock is not dated and the hammer is Type III. A little buffing, but a very blue lock. Springfield parts. $185 + S/H.


#6. A nice M68 or M70 lock with patina on surface of plate and hammer. It is in excellent working condition. $225 + S/H.


#7. A rare M66 Cadet lock with the special sized and dated 1867 lock plate. Very hard to find!!! $295 + S/H.



#8. Sold A mottled color on the face of this late Model 1884 lock. The lock appears to have all originl parts. It is in excellent working condition. $150 + S/H.
