M70 Cut-Down Rifle
M70 Cut-Down Rifle
Carbine made from a cut-down Model 1870 rifle. Wood is a little rough,
but solid. No cracks. No visible cartouche. All metal surfaces are
smooth with original patina. Sight is original, but missing elevation
slide. Reproduction ring and slide bar. Original cut-down barrel has a
very nice shiny bore with nice sharp rifling. Lock is very clean inside
and functions perfectly, as does all other mechanisms. Butt plate appears
to be original, but has no US mark. $750 plus shipping and
insurance. Three day
