The Springfield Armory Museum has temporarily discontinued the tour of the second floor collection due to the installation of a new heating and air conditioning system. Please contact the armory museum to see when the program will be back up and running. Thank you!!
The tours were introduced in response to overwhelming public interest, Springfield Armory National Historic Site has expanded the number of dates offered for second floor tours. $12 gift certificates are available at the Armory's bookstore. Clubs or groups can arrange private tours after business hours and they will be charged actual costs for the event. Visit the Armory web site www.nps.gov/spar for specific times and dates for the months of April, May and June. Call the Springfield Armory at 413-734-8551 to get reservations for the Tuesday, Friday or Saturday tour dates in April, May & June. Walk-ins are possible, on a space available basis.
