M84 Rifle, SN460979
This is a very nice 1884 rifle that has not been sanded or refuinished.
It has a sharp SWP/1889 cartouche that agrees with the serial number
for 1889 production. The stock is in excellent
condition with one chip at the barrel/stock interface at the rear sight
(right side). It is small and not very noticeable. The bore is pristine!!
Most of the metal has a strong blue and there is some color case on the
outside of the tang and block. The color case on the inside of the block
is very strong. It should be a very collectible rifle or make an excellent
shooter.
