M84 Minty New Rifle, SN447221
This rifle was produced in 1889, and evidently has been stored in the dark and away
from sight for many years. The color case is very strong and the bluing is excellent.
The rifle has not been apart and the wood and metal support that observation. The bore
is pristine and the gun is becoming one of a kind since most trapdoors show some use
and storage problems. There are two very minor compression dings in the stock, but you
have to look to find them. In the photographs, there is: a scratch by the receiver, and some dried oil near the muzzle.
