M84 Carbine, SN342767
M84 Carbine, SN342767
This is an M84 carbine that has seen a lot of service and was redone for the Sp-Am War.
The stock has seen service damage. The lock evidently has been repaired in the past. The bore has deep
shiny rifling, but there are pits in the bore. The barrel is safe to shoot, but the accuracy is questionable.
The carbine was in the hands of the S.C. national guard some time after 1877 when the guard started stamping the S.C.
on the butt plate of their carbines. The 1886 cartouche is very clear and the circled P is very clear.
