This set has an excellent bayonet and a scabbard that is very good with a blue color. The leather and stitching on the scabbard are nearly new. The brass is extremely shiny and does not show up well in the photo. The U.S. on the bayonet is nearly gone because of the cleaning process these CW bayonets received when they had their sockets reduced in size to fit the trapdoor barrel. The scabbard is missing the tab that wraps over the leather at the mouth of the scabbard.
